Each transport of bikes outside the car increases air resistance and fuel consumption. This is solved by the latest inovation in the bikers scene. The bike travels inside the car, safely protected from dirt and theft. The interior systems BikeInside and .... are related in principle. First, the rear seats, which are in the way have to be removed. Then the crossbars are installed and the bikes fixed to the front fork of the bicycles. The caravaner loses a part of the loading area, and possibly three seats. As so often in life you can not have it all.

Compact Cars

The Bikeinside inside bike carrier is in principle suitable for compact cars. It must merely be ensured that the bikes fit upright with extended front wheels in your compact car. An assembbly in driving direction and possibly against driving direction is possible.

Try if your bike fits upright (remove front wheel, eventually saddle and travel down your suspension fork and remove rear wheel when needed) in your car. If this is possible you can use the Bikeinside bike rack for the interior of your compact car.

Unfortunately we can not make a general statement for compact cars, as to the combination of bicycle parts such as mounting handlebars, fenders, racks, etc. and the vehicle are too individual.

Station Wagons
